High-quality poster presentations are a vital part of RAID. The poster session provides a platform for discussing works in progress, new research directions, and challenges on various security and privacy topics.

Submission Requirements and Guidelines

The submission should be a single PDF document consisting of:

  1. The poster abstract
  2. The poster draft

Type 1: Novel Ideas and Contributions

For original work and new research directions

  • Brief abstract describing main contributions
  • Emphasis on motivation and contributions
  • Preliminary results may be included
  • Maximum 2 pages (including references and figures)
  • Submissions must not be anonymized
  • Titles must begin with "Poster:"

Format Requirements: Use RAID style format (without the copyright block).

Originality: The proposal should clearly state the difference between the work that will be presented and any paper published or under submission on the same topic.

Note: Poster titles will appear on the conference website prior to the conference, but will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Type 2: Recently Published Research

For papers published in 2023 or later

  • One-page single-column document
  • Full bibliographic reference (title, authors, date, venue)
  • Abstract of the original paper
  • Link/DOI to the published paper

Eligibility: Only papers published in 2023 or later are eligible. Submissions based on papers published more than two years ago will not be accepted.

Note: Accepted posters of recently published papers will have the title and authors appear on the website with a link to the prior published work.

Poster Draft and Submission Format

Poster Draft (Both Types)

  • All submissions must include a draft of the poster
  • Final poster size: 32×40 inches
  • Scale down to letter paper size for submission
  • Receive feedback before the symposium

Submission Guidelines

  • Bundle as a single PDF document
  • First pages: Poster abstract
  • Last page: Poster draft (scaled down)

Example: A 3-page submission = 2 pages abstract + 1 page poster draft

Important Notes

  • Submissions based on papers published more than two years ago will not be accepted
  • Posters will not appear in the official proceedings
  • At least one author must present the poster at the conference
